Emergency Disclaimer
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Mint Med does not provide emergency or urgent care services. Our telehealth services are designed for non-emergent, elective, and preventive care. We recommend that you seek immediate medical attention from your local provider or emergency facility in any urgent or life-threatening situation.
Medical Disclaimer
The information on this website is intended for general informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice or diagnosis. Use of Mint Med services does not replace your relationship with your primary care physician or your need for in-person care when appropriate. A provider-patient relationship is only established after a licensed Mint Med provider has reviewed your intake form and, at their sole discretion, issues a prescription.
Patient Responsibility
Patients are responsible for providing complete, honest, and up-to-date medical history during the intake process. This includes disclosing all current medications, allergies, past diagnoses, and prior treatments. Failure to share accurate and complete information may increase the risk of side effects or reduce the effectiveness of the recommended treatment. Patients are also expected to promptly notify their provider of any changes to their health status or new symptoms that develop during the course of care.
Compounded Medication Explanation
Some treatments offered by Mint Med involve compounded medications. These prescriptions are custom-made by certified compounding pharmacies to meet the individual needs of patients. Compounded medications are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety or efficacy but are legally prescribed when FDA-approved drugs are not commercially available or appropriate for the patient. Mint Med partners only with licensed, U.S.-based pharmacies that follow strict quality and safety standards.
Trademarks and Product Ownership
All product names, logos, and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. Ozempic® and Wegovy® are registered trademarks of Novo Nordisk A/S. Mint Med does not claim ownership over any third-party trademarks. Wegovy® is available through Mint Med and may be prescribed when medically appropriate. We use third-party brand names solely for patient education and product transparency. For complete information on brand medications, please consult the original manufacturer or your prescribing provider.
FDA Reporting Information
If you experience any side effects, complications, or adverse reactions to a medication prescribed through Mint Med, please notify your provider immediately. You may also report side effects directly to the FDA via the MedWatch program by calling 1-800-FDA-1088 or visiting www.fda.gov/medwatch. Mint Med takes patient safety seriously and encourages prompt reporting to help ensure ongoing medical quality and accountability.
State Licensure Information
Mint Med operates under state telehealth laws and regulations. Our licensed providers offer consultations and care only in states where they are authorized to practice. Patient access, available medications, and treatment plans may vary based on state-specific telehealth rules. We maintain a current record of provider licensure and adhere to all state medical board compliance requirements.

Use in Women of Childbearing Potential
Certain medications available through Mint Med, such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Finasteride, are not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. These medications may pose risks to an unborn baby or nursing infant. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or currently breastfeeding, you must inform your provider before starting or continuing treatment. Additionally, GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide may delay gastric emptying, potentially affecting the absorption of oral contraceptives. Use of effective birth control may be recommended while on treatment. Your provider will guide you in choosing a safe and appropriate plan.
